Announcements for week of 7-21-19: We will not have children's church through the summer months. Children's church will resume with the start of the new school year in August. July 21 - 6 p.m. - Community Christian concert at the Clay County Fairgrounds, sponsored by Flora area churches. Everyone is encouraged to bring a lawn chair. There will be no evening service here that day. July 26 - 10 a.m. to Noon - Noah’s Park: The Great Treasure Hunt! - Every Friday in July, for children ages 3 through 5th grade. VBS Lessons, water activities & games, and lunch will be provided for participants. July 30 - 10 A.M. - Ladies’ Luncheon. Meet at the church to carpool to the Country Restaurant in St. Peter. Please sign-up on the foyer bulletin board so we can let the restaurant know how many will be coming. July 31 - 7 P.M. - Children’s Quizzing Begins!!! Open to children in 1st -6th grades. This year we will be studying the book of Genesis. We plan to give away bottled water at the Flora school registration on Thursday, August 1st. Please consider donating cases of water and/or helping out on registration day. There is a sign-up sheet on the foyer bulletin board for those who are able to volunteer. August 3 - 6 P.M. - Singles' Event at the church. Finger food and homemade ice cream. We are planning a membership seminar for late summer. Announcements for week of 6-30-19: Jabez Pregnancy Center Baby Bottle Fundraiser – Please bring in your bottles this Sunday, June 30th. June 30 - 6 p.m. - Community Prayer Walk - We will begin with a time of fellowship, food, and devotional, then divide into groups of 2-4 to walk through various sections of our community quietly praying for our neighbors, businesses, and community leaders. We will not have children's church through the summer months. Children's church will resume with the start of the new school year in August. July 3 - No Midweek Services this week. Please bring a snack and/or 2 liter of soda to share. 4-30 - 11:30 a.m. - Ladies' Salad Luncheon at Deana's. Due to limited parking, please meet at the church at 11:15 to carpool. Sign up on the foyer bulletin board. 5-1 - Kids vs. Grownups Bible Quiz! Our children will be demonstrating what they are learning in Bible Quizzing by challenging a team of adults. Come cheer on our kids and test your own knowledge of the book of Acts.
